NICK’S ORIGINAL CONEY SAUCE IN 5 EASY STEPS
In a 3+ quart sauce pot, bring 1 1/4 cups of water to a boil.

Stir in contents of Nick’s Coney Sauce packet, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

Add ½ lb extra, extra lean ground beef — raw (7% to 15% fat ideal).

Raise heat and thoroughly pulverize beef with (manual) potato masher. Continue mashing beef until contents come to a full boil.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer 3 minutes.
